BIOGRAPHY
Wani Han

Wani Han, was awarded 1st place at the “Korean National Classic Music Competition” as a piano performer at the age of 13 and has become one of the most promising young film scoring students at Berklee College of Music.

In 2015, she received the Michael Kamen Award for “Outstanding Musicianship” granted by that renowned school. Wani was trained as a musician she was 6 years old and became known in her home country of South Korea for her work in the Musical “Quiz Bank”, where she worked as a composer and arranger. With almost 20 years of intense piano studies and 3 years of professional musical theatre composing, Han’s has been influenced by a vast variety of styles and composers, from Mozart to Alan Menken and John Williams.

Some of her most remarkable work includes: Musical Director for “Seoul-Land Performance Team”, Arranger and Piano Accompanist for MBC’s TV show “The Greatest Birth” (Korean version of American Idol), as well as composer for the silent film Nosferatu which was re-scored and performed in the Boston Symphony Hall by the Boston POPS and Keith Lockhart in October 2015 and by the new Valencia Symphony Orchestra on October 2016 in Los Angeles California.

Her latest credits include Additional Orchestrator for The Mummy (Starring Tom Cruise), Additional Orchestrator for Gnome Alone (Starring Becky G.), Music Arranger for 10 episodes of the TV series Rogue and Music Arranger for the films My Christmas Love and Christmas List, Composer for You Are Here.
